The Goldseal Arming Sword is a compact one-handed medieval sword built around a single striking detail: a gilded seal set into the flat of its faceted steel pommel, like a knight's signet carried into battle. Everything else is deliberately quiet — black leather, brown belts, brass buckles — so the gold reads as authority rather than decoration.

Blade: Forged from 60Si2CrVA spring steel, the 73.3 cm (28.9 in) blade is unusually broad at 5.95 cm (2.34 in), with a deep central fuller that keeps it light and a long taper to a precise point.

Guard: A slender 304 stainless steel crossguard with a soft downward curve and polished bevels frames the hand without adding bulk.

Scabbard: Wood core wrapped in genuine cowhide, finished in black with a raised saltire motif, a polished steel chape and two brown leather suspension straps on brass buckles.

Handle: The 15.5 cm (6.1 in) grip is hand-corded genuine cowhide over wood, sized for a firm single-handed hold, topped by the faceted pommel and its gilded seal.

Dimensions: At 97.2 cm (38.3 in) overall and 1.85 kg (4.1 lbs), the Goldseal is short and dense — the kind of sword meant to be worn, not carried in both hands.

Handsome on a stand and honest in the hand, the Goldseal Arming Sword suits collectors who prefer the sober, functional side of medieval steel.
